Refund Policy

1. New Purchase — 14-Day Full Refund
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial Premium subscription purchase, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will issue a full refund.
This 14-day window starts from the date of your first Premium payment.
2. Renewal Payments — 7-Day Refund Window
For automatic subscription renewals (monthly or yearly), refunds are available within 7 days of the renewal date. This protects against accidental renewals you forgot to cancel.
After the 7-day window, renewal payments are non-refundable. However, you may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals (see Section 4).
3. Yearly Subscription
For yearly subscriptions ($50 USD), the 14-day new purchase refund applies in full. After 14 days:
- Standard: Prorated refunds are not provided due to the discounted nature of yearly pricing.
- Korean residents (legal compliance): Per Korean consumer protection law, you may request a prorated refund based on unused months at the monthly equivalent rate ($5/month). Used months are non-refundable.
4. Cancellation vs Refund
Cancelling your subscription is different from requesting a refund:
- Cancellation: Stops future charges. You retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No automatic refund.
- Refund: Returns money to your payment method. Must be requested per Section 1 or 2 timeframes.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@searchcleaner.com with:
- Subject line: “Refund Request”
- Email address used for purchase
- Order ID (from your Lemon Squeezy receipt)
- Reason (optional — helps us improve)
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days back to your original payment method.
6. Abuse Prevention
To prevent abuse of our refund policy:
- Each customer is eligible for one full refund per payment method or email address.
- Customers who have received a refund are not eligible for a second refund using the same email or payment method.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of clear abuse, including but not limited to: rapid subscribe-refund cycles, multiple accounts, or attempts to bypass these terms.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly via email refund. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account termination.
